About DZ Selects
The DZ Selects program is offered to Troupe & Pre-Troupe Plus students (Ages 7+) who would like to explore additonal performance opportunities through Competitions, events, travel etc. Choreography for the Selects is done in the summer time when things are less hectic and throughout the regular dance season these dancers recieve significant techincal training in addition to their regular programs.
Dancers are selected from an audition, which is typically held in late January for the next years team, and placed on one of our teams: DZ Selects Sparklers, DZ Selects Dynamties and DZ Selects Rockets.
Each year dancers must re-audition if they choose to be a part of our teams the following year.
